Do students graduate and earn a diploma?
Yes. We are approved and certified by the State of New Hampshire and provide a Parker Academy diploma which is
recognized by colleges and universities. We accept students who demonstrate a desire to grow, succeed and be actively involved in our program.
We include in that mix students who are gifted, have learning differences, emotional challenges, as well
as a wide range of abilities. Reflective of the public at large, the diversity of our student body creates
a very dynamic learning environment. We do not admit students whose behavior requires intensive intervention
or are highly oppositional. Students who are highly oppositional, act out in aggressive ways, or are disrespectful to adults and peers
will not be encouraged to apply. Yes. If a student is destined to pursuea post-secondary education, they have every opportunity to do so.
Some students attend competitive colleges and universities and others may start with their local community college.
Students who wish to begin a trade are offered internships and encouraged to attend a local vocational
program while at Parker. All students are given individual attention during this transition beginning
at the start of the junior year, if not before. All students interested in attending Parker Academy should-
Enrollment is usually between fifty and sixty students. We are approved to provide programs for students with the following diagnoses: ADD, ADHD, Autism (Aspergers),
non-verbal learning disabilities, speech and language, dyslexia, emotional handicapped (mild depression and anxiety
disorders). Yes, currently we have soccer and basketball teams. We compete against other member schools within the Southern New
Hampshire Private School Athletic Association. An average class at Parker Academy is five students. The student-to-faculty ratio is 3:1. Students bring their own lunch each day. There is a kitchen on campus with a refrigerator and microwave for student use.
The middle school does not have mid-terms or final exams. However, if a middle school student is enrolled in a high school
level class, he or she will have a mid-term. The high school does have semester exams. The exams occur after the second and
fourth quarters. Parker Academy offers a variety of activities. There are sports teams for each season; soccer, basketball and ultimate
Frisbee. We are members of the SNHPSAA, Southern NH Private School Athletic Association and compete against other schools
similar in size. On Wednesdays, students participate in a variety of activities such as community service, outdoor activities,
games etc. In addition, Parker Academy has an Adventure Program available to its students.

There are several transportation options. Students can either drive themselves or a parent can drive them.
A student who drives must have permission from Parker Academy as well as their parent.
Some transportation may also be coordinated through school districts. Grades are posted weekly along with comments on the web-based program, Edline.
Each family and school district, if applicable, has access to the student’s academic standing. All teachers regularly
post assignments, grades and information associated with the class.
