Heather’s growing up amid Parker Academy has contributed greatly to interest in the field of education. She spent her junior and senior year of high school enrolled in the Foundations of Education vocational course at Concord High School. She has also completed two courses through the National Outdoor Leadership School which included a month backpacking in Wyoming and a month backpacking and sea kayaking in Alaska. Heather was a member of the inaugural CHS Girls Varsity Ice Hockey team and has been a competitive athlete on many other teams. After graduating in 2008 she joined her sister in Colorado for 3 months to work and gain life experience. Upon returning home she has joined the Parker team and more recently has become the school’s Activities Coordinator. Heather is full of energy with many ideas to share. When not at work, Heather spends her time hiking, traveling, or on a local pond playing hockey with her old teammates. Heather ultimately plans to pursue further education and a career in Special Education.
