Kathy taught Physical Education for three years after college. Her volunteer work led her to a career in non-profit management for 11 years which she found to be very fulfilling. She and her family moved to NH from Massachusetts four years ago for her husband's new job. Kathy was drawn back to teaching and trained at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Reading Disabilities Unit in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program. She feels privileged to work at Parker Academy, teaching students and being part of such a dedicated reading team.

She and her husband have two awesome adult children with special needs, Kate and Peter. The one thing that she is most proud of is being a mom. Those who know Kathy know that she loves to have lots of fun everyday. Some of her favorite things to do are spend time with her kids and sweet husband, play tennis, watch movies, read a great book, make a new friend, and walk by the ocean.
