Patti graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Plymouth State and has worked in a public school library and two private schools before coming to Parker Academy four years ago. While at one of the private schools, she received her training and certification in several reading and writing programs. Since then her passion has been to work with those with reading difficulties and different learning styles. Additionally, Patti has studied several foreign languages including Latin, French, and German.

Patti lives in the geographic center of the state, Ashland, with her husband Mark and has two daughters, Jennifer and Sarah. Her hobbies include gardening, knitting, scrap booking, sudoku, and visiting her youngest daughter, Sarah, in St. Augustine, Florida.
