Foundations of 2 and 3 Dimensional art are designed to meet the needs of students wanting a more practical approach to visual art. The elements and principles of design are introduced and practiced through real life design solving problems and investigations. Our current visual culture, from websites to iPods designs, will fuel conversations about art and its meaning. Essential drawing skills will be introduced at the beginning of the course and sketchbooks will be used to collect and record information.
