Foundations of Studio Art - High School

Foundations of Studio Art provides students with the opportunity to become familiar with a variety of mediums and techniques both two and three dimensional. Emphasis is on understanding art as a visual language and valid means of communication. Students will be encouraged to use their own life experiences as subject matter and through observation and discussion find their way to effective use of the elements and principles of design.
