Environmental Science is the study of the interaction between humans and the environment in which they live. Topics covered will include energy conservation and transformation, fossil fuels, renewable and sustainable energy sources, species interactions, pollution and the fundamentals of environmental law and activism. Students will be asked to complete written and oral assessments as well as complete research and activism projects. Students are also required to be student leaders on the Green Team and to develop and institute environmentally sound policies and procedures within the greater Parker Academy community.
