Economics is the study of how people produce, distribute, and consume limited resources in order to satisfy their wants, and how those choices are made. While concentrating on the U.S economics system, students will explore other systems and how they interact with each other. The goal of an economic education at Parker Academy is to prepare students to make effective decisions as consumers, and producers. Students will analyze the costs and benefits of economic choices in a market economy. This course meets the half-credit requirement in Economics. Go back to Mathematics & Science page
