Algebra II students have the opportunity to extend the topics first seen in Algebra I and advance skills in algebraic operations by solving linear and absolute value equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations and inequalities, radical exponential and logarithmic equations. Additionally, linear and quadratic functions and relations, exponential and logarithmic functions will be analyzed numerically, graphically and algebraically. Technology and specifically use of a graphing calculator will enable students to visualize, verify and explore models they have already graphed or manipulated by hand and explore real life data applications. Online study notes and guides as well as practice worksheets will be provided.
