An application packet containing forms and outlining the various requirements should be obtained by anyone seeking admission. The first step in the process for all students applying to Parker Academy is a personal interview. Parents are encouraged to attend, as well as a school district representative in the case of a special education placement. Academic records, school report cards and evaluations are reviewed. Additional materials, such as the current and/or proposed IEP, will be requested if applying for special education placement. If the evaluation information is not adequate, Parker Academy can complete additional testing or make recommendations for an outside referral. There is an additional fee for testing. Once the initial interview and review of preliminary materials has been done, the applicant will be encouraged to spend a day or part of a day at the school, participating in regular activities. If Parker Academy appears appropriate for the student, the applicant (or the school district, in the case of special education placements) will be encouraged to complete the formal application. We are a private day school that is approved for Special Education Services. The NH Department of Education sets our rates annually. Families paying privately should speak with our Director for tuition rates. Contact us for more information
