A personal interview is required of all students applying to Parker Academy. Parents are encouraged to attend. In addition, all previous academic records, school report cards and testing are submitted at the interview. If additional testing is required, Parker Academy will complete the testing themselves or make recommendations to an outside referral source. There is an additional fee for testing.

Once the initial interview and review of testing is complete, the applicant will be encouraged to spend a day, or part of a day, at the school. The student will then be asked to apply if they appear appropriate to the Admissions Director. The applicant must then provide the following items before an application will be considered and ready for final review.

Filled out application: Completed by the student. Parent Information: To be completed by one or both parents or guardians. Provides a parent's perspective of the student. Teacher recommendations: To be completed by two academic instructors who have taught the student in the most recent past. Parent Contract: A statement signed by the parents or guardians that obligates them to specific responsibilities. Student Contract: A statement signed by the student that obligates him or her to specific responsibilities.
